At the Tech Tourism Cluster, we provide tourism sector companies with a self-assessment tool that allows them to evaluate their level of maturity in artificial intelligence and identify specific opportunities to apply AI to their business.

The self-assessment also has a collective objective: to obtain a comprehensive overview of the state of AI adoption and maturity among tourism companies in Catalonia. Company participation will allow us to gain a global view of the ecosystem, identify trends and needs, and detect the main opportunities and challenges involved in integrating AI into the sector.

At the same time, this initiative contributes to positioning Catalan tourism companies as benchmarks in innovation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence adoption, strengthening the sector’s competitiveness and positioning Catalonia as a leading tourism ecosystem in the application of these technologies.

What will you get?

Through a questionnaire, you will be able to learn about your company’s current situation free of charge and receive a personalised report including:

• 📃 Your AI maturity level: initial, basic, intermediate, advanced or leader.
•  ✅ If you are at an advanced or leader level, you will receive a Tech Tourism Cluster seal that you can incorporate into your company’s communication channels and use as a visibility and positioning element with your clients, users and other ecosystem stakeholders. 
•  📊 A maturity map by category, allowing you to identify the areas in which your company is more advanced and those where there is still room for improvement. 
• 💡 3 recommended AI use cases based on the characteristics and needs of your business. 
• 💭 Inspiration through best practices with real-life business cases of companies already leading in AI application. 

What does each maturity level mean?

• 🥉 Initial: The company is at an exploratory stage and has not yet significantly incorporated AI into its business.
• 🥈 Basic: The company has already started experimenting with AI and uses some tools on an occasional basis. 
• 🥇 Intermediate: AI is already used across several processes, and the company is beginning to integrate it into the business in a structured way. 
• 🎖️ Advanced: The company integrates AI across the business, with established use cases and a clear adoption strategy. 
• 🏆 Leader: The company is at the forefront of AI adoption, with a mature strategy, advanced use of AI and the capacity for continuous innovation.

In this way, the self-assessment not only allows you to understand where your company currently stands, but also to identify opportunities to move forward in AI adoption and make more informed decisions about the next steps.

Based on the results, you will be able to identify areas with the greatest potential for improvement, prioritise opportunities for AI implementation and identify use cases that can bring value to your business.
